A couple years ago, we photographed Bethanys sisters wedding. That was the first time we met Bethany. We were honored when she and Dylan asked us to photograph their wedding this year. It was a beautiful ceremony. The weather didn’t quite cooperate, it was windy and rainy, but, wow, the images we captured were stunning.
It puts a smile on my face when I see two people who are truly in love get married. Bethany and Dylan are wonderful people and we want to say congratulations, may your wedding be forever blessed.
We were honored to photograph Luke and Jessica’s wedding in Hamilton, MT this summer and excited to share their amazing wedding day. They were married at St. Francis church and had a beautiful reception Luke’s parents home, which they could turn their back yard in a wedding venue it was so gorgeous. Every bit of Luke and Jessica’s wedding day was perfect.
Jessica was a stunning bride. Her hair and makeup was flawless and her dress…BEAUTIFUL. As she got ready at the church, Luke showed up in style in the family’s restored Chevy.
As a photographer, being part of a bride and grooms day is incredible. There is so much planning in preparing for a wedding. The countdown seems to take forever from an engagement to the event, and finally…the Wedding day arrives, and it goes by so fast. Being able to witness the nervousness, the excitement, the pure joy, and most of all, being able to document the moments for the happy couple puts a smile on our face. Jessica picked up her wedding pictures this afternoon, and her face was beaming.
Luke and Jessica, may your marriage be blessed. You are both wonderful people and we are very happy for the both of you.
A few of years ago, I photographed Katie’s High School Senior pictures, and now she asked Russ and I to capture her beautiful wedding. I was very honored.
Although Val and Katie went on a backpacking trip in the Bitterroot mountains and got married near a lake, they redid their wedding vows in front of friends and family, and had a beautiful reception a couple days later. Immediately after the vows, came the down pour rain….Good thing for a couple of tents.
We met with Val and Katie a couple days after their reception for a Bride and Groom session at a local farm (which happened to be the exact location for Katie’s Senior pictures) and here are the beautiful images.
Thank you for allowing Russ and I be part of your special day, and we would like to congratulate you on your beautiful marriage.
Flowers: Flower Happy
John and Ansha are some of the most down to earth, incredible people. Watching their beautiful story unfold during the day was touching, and seeing how they are around each other really shows true love. It was an amazing day from the time we got there until the time that we packed our camera equipment up and said our goodbyes. When Russ and I photograph a wedding, we always split up…he photographs the groom up until the first look and I photograph the bride. While I was photographing Ansha getting ready and the details of her beautiful dress, Russ was photographing John and the guys getting ready, and…playing football…because we all know women take a little longer than men when getting ready for the big day. It’s always fun to see what Russ captures before that first look.
The wedding dress, All I can say is…Gor-geous!!! Ansha’s mom helped her put her dress on, and what a special time between a mother and daughter. Her jewelry, her shoes, her boquet…it all came together beautifully.
John and Ansha chose to do the first look before the wedding, and it was something they will always cherish. The first time a groom sees his beautiful bride in her dress, the moment she can show it off after keeping it hidden for months…Priceless.
The rain came and went thru out the day, but it didn’t stop this couple and their friends and family from having fun and celebrating John and Ansha coming together in marriage.
Thank you both for having us document your day. May your marriage be blessed.
Chris and Colleen were married this spring at one of the most beautiful venues I have ever stepped foot on. It was located at Sky Ridge Ranch overlooking the beautiful Mission Mountains. Although it rained that day, and ceremony had to be brought inside at the last minute, you would have never known. The venue inside is just as amazing as the grounds it sits on. The wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Loved the way Chris dressed with his vest and cowboy hat and then there was Colleen…she was gorgeous. Her dress was beautiful, and her smile was contagious. We were able to take some of the Bride and Groom pictures out in the lawn in front of the pond later that evening when the rain stopped, and as you can see from the pictures below….it was a beautiful setting. Congratulations Chris and Colleen. We are very happy for the both of you.
Luke & Whitneys wedding was absolutely beautiful. It was located in the Bitterroot Valley overlooking the beautiful Bitterroot river with the Majestic Bitterroot Mountains in the background. They went with a vintage style theme with lace, pearls with a splash of pink and grey. Talk about gorgeous. Whitney was a beautiful bride, and her eyes sparkled as the day unfolded. Luke made a handsome groom, and his expression watching Whitney walk down the aisle was priceless. We loved documenting their wedding and watching it unfold. Luke and Whitney, congratulations, and may your marriage be blessed.

We spent the evening in the studio a couple weeks ago with 3 of our 2016 models Easton, Katie, and Maddie doing a fashion inspired photoshoot. We were going for dressy fashion and loved the outfits the 3 models brought. I loved how Russ incorporated the old fashioned microphone for one of Easton’s portraits, and he totally pulled the part off like he owned that mic. Loved, loved, loved Katie and Maddie’s dresses they chose. And Maddie’s hat….PERFECT.
I can’t believe these 3 are graduating in a little over 2 weeks. Doesn’t seem possible. We have truly enjoyed working with our 2016 Model Team.
Did you ever think when you brought your son or daughter home from the hospital that they would grow up, graduate and move on their jouney? Of coure, as a parent, we all know it will happen, but where did all those years go? They flew by.
I know when I show our senior premier slideshow at the studio, many moms (and dads) shed a few tears wondering how their babies grew up so quickly. It’s an emotional time for us as parents. I know I shed many tears when my two boys graduated.
Graduation day for both the parents and teenager is a BIG day. Getting their diploma and saying farewell to their classmates and teachers is bittersweet.
Then there is the celebration. The accomplishment of 13 successful years. I have had many senior parents ask about graduation parties in the past years and I decided to write tips and ideas for the perfect celebration.
Announcements – By now, I am sure you have ordered the announcements. If not, there is still time. The reccommended time to mail announcements out is 4 weeks prior to graduation day.
Thank you Cards – Don’t wait, the perfect time to send thank you cards out is RIGHT AWAY. The longer you wait, the easier it is to procrastinate. Send them out the week after graduation.

Here is the photoshoot we did earlier this year. I had this concept, and our 2016 Senior Model Riley Clairmont was the perfect one for the shoot with her artistic flair. she had the perfect color of dress which was what we built the flower crown around. I wanted something artistic and mysterious, and was happy with the end result.
